We marvel at the grace of God in Jesus. His grace is infinite. He never runs out! His grace is matchless. He cannot be outdone! This is an extravagant gift! The table which has been furnished by the riches of God is unable to be compared with any other gift.

Jesus Christ is our immediate and ever-present Shepherd through His helping Holy Spirit. He is not above drawing up alongside of us in our needs and desperation and bearing up under the load we struggle under, taking it off our weary shoulders and freeing us in the grace of His completed victory.

This is in essence what we praise when we echo David’s glad temple prayer. We want God to rule in all of our hearts alone. We are asking for Jesus to make His existence known through our bodies as He was known during His time among us on earth.
